The figure is still "wet" from the turpinoid/raw umber wash. Oh, and I painted this beast with the airbrush Gabe!

A little work was done tonight, since I am going to add the crew cleaning the barrel I have decided to open up a storage box and fill it with stuff. I am going to use the kit plastic boxes with some p/e details added. The stock kit part "opening" it up.... i just used a x-acto knife to drill holes and cut away plastic and a nail file to clean it up. the open box next to the stock closed box.... also in the pic are two crewmen being born.... ;D

They look beautiful Carlos! Once they are applied I think they will be great under a nice winter whitewash. Hmmm, I wonder if the russians had "lend-lease" with Argentina?? A KV II with Argentine roundels.....

Here is the decal freshly applied, it went down very nice with a little Micro Set but no micro sol. A quick look this morning and it looks good. The only thing is they are so thin that the color has all but disappeared..... Hmmm, I am thinking about that problem.

its ok, they work beautiful..... but show up black on the dark green tank..... I am thinking of applying the second decal over the top of the first to bring out the red, and then putting the other slogan on the other side of the turret. OR I am thinking of removing it, putting a base of white, then applying the other set of slogans.... Thank you for doing the work Carlos, the decals really do go on very well, I am gald I didn't use micro set!

After looking at this tank and the decals, I decided to remove them, they were nice, went down very well but showed up to dark on the Dk. Green paint underneath. I also didn't like the color I picked for the tank (Tamiya Dk. Green ) and I decided to repaint it with Model Master Acryl Medium Green. I put some masking tape over the outside of the track and sprayed away! A little overspray on the tracks will have to be corrected... All the final details were put on prior to painting... The headlight will have a clear glass lens provided in the kit, and the tow cables were plastic eye loop ends, canvas or rubber protective cover and where that ends you drill a hole and super glue braided wire for the cable.... nice touch! Oh, and yes Gabriel I used the GREX.... ;D almost done!! I have been scrounging around for logical things to put in the open side box, add some weathering and it will be done.

Hey is looking good, I like the color you choose, it remembers me the spanish modelers... ..and finally you useyour Grex airbrush...Thank God... Just like a tip: You can add some white to the paint and do some clouds like Alberto show us, and for the winter add some chipping and some mud on top... .. also some oils to bring life to the model, or try mapping on the model...bring your usb and I will give you the Mig book FAQ...so you can have it on your computer and check some ideas.... You are doing a great job...

Mike, this model was recently attacked by the three legged terrorist, she jumped in the box and on the tank when I forgot how much she hated my air compressor and started it up. I was afraid to look too hard at the damage, but I know she took off some of the track and front hull details (headlights and stuff). It was quietly put back in the box until I am ready to open it and look.
