WinterFest III will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2013.
The Secret Society of Model Builders will hold an open judging scale model contest.
And
The San Diego Air and Space Museum will hold a modeling and aviation memorabilia Swap Meet.
The event will be held in the Air and Space Museum Annex at Gillespie Field, El Cajon, Ca.
Our theme is "Third time the charm"
Huh, whats that?
Well, if there is a 3 or a third in it, it is good for the theme award.
Example.... for Ships it could be USS Saratoga CV-3
or maybe the third ship of destroyer squadron 14
Aircraft.... F3F-1 or a Mig-3, or even the third highest scoring ace.
Something with three or third qualifies for the theme award, no matter what you like to build somehow you can find a subject to fit in the theme.
