Another oldie but goodie. This is a kit from my youth, I always liked it then and wanted to build it again, so when I saw this in Philips "trunk of shame" for $3 I got it.
It will be totally out of the box.





I am kind of bummed out as the kit is missing the 2 crewmen, but such is life!

I stold a pair from the Airfix Hannover CL 111a kit for this build..... But, I will be begging for the hannover when I get to it.

So, progress has been good on this one..... wings on, rigging rigged, landing gear going on now and ready for decals.
Different views of construction, as you can see this is an old, thickly molded kit..... lots of thining and lots of filling.

Not the most detailed of kits, but it looks German WWI and it is done and out of the stash.....











These old biplane kits are relaxing to build..... not many parts, and I am not worrying about superdetailing, just a little care in building and good paint. They look good in the case. My WWI collection is now up to 8 planes.
