Hello: this is my latest work. It is a 1/16th scale original sculpt using only leftover sprue as my sculpting matieral. The figure is that of a US Marine taking cover during the battle of Khe Sahn, during the Tet offensive of 1968.

wow, you are getting close to go comercial and start selling these guys.....
I like this pose, he looks natural.

Thanks Dan: Don't think I'll ever go pro, more likely to give this figure to someone, than sale it. Just my nature. Thougth Mexmarine would have something to add.

Mexmarine has been away at a pro-development school with the USMC..... He will be graduating this wednsday, then hopfully he will have some time to resume his posting here on SSMB.

How interresting for him. It may workout that I'll be in your neck of the woods in the near future. I've a grandson going to the MCRD this month. should graduate early fall. I'll keep you posted.
