These are 2 Skyhawks that I am building simultaneously, since both are Hobbycraft, 1/48 and out of the box. Identical in the inside, only the cammo schemes will be different once I finish assembly. I started with the cockpits, simple, just painted since the canopies will be closed. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Since the building is pretty straight foward, I am already in the pre-shading phase and getting ready for the whole paint job! Uploaded with ImageShack.us

So this is where "the twins" take it's separate ways: The A-4B of "Grupo 5 de Caza" takes on a brown /green cammo while the A-4C from "Grupo 4 de Caza" take a white/brown cammo. Their undersides are also different grays. Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usMore to come as I finish the cammos and start decaling

;D Looking good, I think the HobbyCraft kit is okay. Just think if you would have "cheated" with pre painted p/e!!

So, the decals went on pretty nicely and then, I painted the ID marks in both models. Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usTime for the landing gear, armament, and finally, details and weathering.
