;D This release from Bronco makes me one happy camper!! I know it is rather boring for a lot of people, but as a young private fresh from basic training and AIT my first duty assignment was with the 9th Infantry Division at Fort Lewis Washington. My unit, the 1st Bn, 84th Field Artillery was the general support artillery battalion for the division. "The big guns", we were equipped with 3 batteries of 155mm, M-114 towed howitzers (this kit) and 1 battery of 8", M-110 Self Propelled Howitzers. I was assigned to C Battery...... great memories of one of the best assignments I enjoyed in my career. I have an old "Peerless Max" kit of this gun, but it is out of scale somewhere around 1/30th scale. FINALLY, I have the first gun I directed..... and on invitation of the 4th howitzer section chief, the first howitzer I pulled the tail of. Sweet!!!!! I think I will order one..... or two....

I don't know of any kits of the old US 5 ton truck. The one Italeri makes is the newer truck. too bad.

Nothing like the sound of a battery of 155's going off in the morning. Did my time with both towed and selfpropelled 155's

It's a dare!! Go ahead attack us from the front!!!! And the barrel stayed that way, my unit in 1977 to 79 still had the chrome barrel..... A nice silver barrel sticking out of a green camo net...... in a field of brown grass.... ;D yea, we felt hidden
