For those of you interested I went to CNet.com and found a program called "youtube downloader" (in the downloads tab) that is free and will download web videos, even convert the files to many different types of formats. I am now in the process of downloading the fuji tv modeling show videos and the Tamiya modeling videos.... .............. just need to learn Japanese!

Yep, I have now tried the "youtube downloader" from CNET.com Easy to use and works great. The modeling videos I have been downloading are in the .flv format (?) and it is nice that the youtube downloader also has a file converter with it. So, I have been converting the .flv format into .wmf files, you can choose about 5 different formats to convert too. Very handy.
