;D Ahhhhh, a new project! I have been having fun building these 1/72 scale aircraft and I have been taking this one off the shelf and looking at it a lot the past few months, so this time when I took it down I started it. I have a Nate "in a bag" that I got at orangecon but no canopy.... So when I saw this new ICM offering of the Nate I just had to buy it. This will be my first ICM aircraft kit, depending on how this goes, they have a few others that interest me. So here goes..... The box art. The plastic The engine has impressed me, it has the engine mount, a very well detailed engine and exhaust system. More to come!

This really is a nicely detailed kit for 1/72 scale. I am a little worried about the fit of the fuselage onto the wings and how ICM engineered it. I am in the dry fitting stage and just not happy with the fit. Other than that this is a fine kit.

Went back to work on this bird last night.... Wings glued together and onto the fuselage, dry fitted the engine frame, engine, and engine access panels and the engine cowling.... This kit is getting close to the paint shop stage..... A little gem of a kit! oh, yes, a China invasion scheme.

Nice Dan. I'm looking at this in 1/32. They offer both Malasyia and Nomohan markings.

So, once the cowling is placed, can the engine supports been seen? or would you have to open a panel?

Once its closed, nothing can be seen except from the front. I am considering looking for some pictures and see if a panel on top can be opened up...... It is a nice engine and mount!

The aircraft is nearing completion, I have put on two coats of future and started decals. I have decided to do the comanders aircraft that is shown on the box art. The red and yellow on the nose as well as the blue on the tail is painted, the rest will be decals. Hope to be finished soon.....
