So the May meeting is upon us And it just happen to be the 25th aniversary of the movie "Top Gun" Uploaded with ImageShack.usSo if anyone has a portable DVD player and a decent screen, we watch the movie, we eat some food and we bring some F-14's some Mig 28's and maybe an A-4 ;D Otherwise, just bring some models to talk about and another contest judging sheet...who's turn is it?

I think we have most of the sheets completed now. I have a kit to do some scribing on, and we have some mags, models, and munchies to go along as well.

The May meeting is over, all went well. An enjoyable evening of food and models. We enjoyed Pizza, Shanghai Lumpia and Pancit.... As a treat, I found something in Ralph's North America, something that was spoofed as "not going to America"..... So we all had a toast to Gabriel and Carlos who introduced me to Victoria Beer... We had talk and looked at things we brought in, magazines and models... hehehehehe, the annoying task of paying dues was done.... Winterfest is coming... We had ships in boxes... Shoho, Akagi, Lexington, Boxer..... Brad showing the new Dragon Neblewersometihing or other.... Kind of cool, only 3 made. The Nordic Way will love them. Jose counterattacked with the Graf Zepplin.... And then it went world wide with the appearance of a Japanese type 89 tank. This is the new kit by Fine Molds, issued in 3 issues of "Armor Modeling" magazine from Japan. Mike showed us some scribing techniques he is doing on the old Monogram F9F Panther jet... We looked at and talked about the other projects.... A good night in all....

No, the Type 89 is Brad's...... LOL, I can't afford one! Almost got one, the Japanese market had it on the sale table, but only 2 of the 3 issues! Those are all of the pictures of it I have.
