Another model built by Corpsman. This is the OLD Fujimi kit in 1/700. The ship is built as she appeared early in WWII. She lost the 8" turrets in early 1942 before the battle of the Coral Sea. Well "Doc" I started in 1976 in the Marine Corps(god bless all you corpsmen past and present) Then enlisted in the Army spent the next 20 plus years there. My only regret was taking a commission, missed being a Sgt.

Know a number of jarheads who got out of the Corps & went into the Army. Nothing wrong bettering one's self. Made a promise to the Lord that if He blessed me with the "woman of my life", I would give up the Corps. Met her via the Sea Tiger in January 1970 & married her December of 70. Still hitched and no regrets!!!!
