I am posting this build for Corpsman, it is of the Japanese Navy Destroyer Yugumo. The Kit: Hasegawa Yugumo Kit No. 27, Purchased at James Mayo Kadena AFB, Okinawa 14 March 1986. Scale: 1/700 Started: Completed: 5 August 2000 25 June 2001 Details of construction... Hull Color: Floquil Ocean Gray 5-0 Boot Top: British Crimson M15 Deck Color: Linoleum Testors Rubber 1183 Motorboats: Floquil Deck Tan decks of launches with brush tip full of light gray Cutters Tamiya XF-64 Red Brown Polly-S White for trim PE: Tom’s Modelworks Set 721 Mast & Yardarms: Re-build with brass Rigging: Calenis and stretched spruce Comments: Lot of parts removed for Early War, 1942. Type D gun turrets replaced with Leviathan parts. 2 twin 25mm, 2 rails removed from stern, Portholes drilled out with #75 drill, Bridge wings re-built. Yugumo Yugumo class 1st Mobile Force, Carrier Strike Force, Vice Admiral Nagumo Battle of Midway Island Starboard view Port side..... More ships from the BoM to follow....

Great build! It is a nice, clean build.
I was in Oki in 86. I was deployed right down the road at Camp Shields with NMCB 62. I made many a trip to that Exchange.
