Well, I guess we can't continue the judging forms without one of our key members  So... I was thinking that some of us have struggles with certain techniques, like me for example, I am still doubtful of how to apply 1/700 PE correctly.  Maybe some other member wants to know how to mask a canopy, apply decals, weathering techniques or anything. If anyone has some questions or demo request, maybe another member can bring a quick answer.  So post your inquiries by Thursday night and someone could bring the answer on Friday  I have one off the back:  How can I show the engine compartment on a Panzer III?  I need some pictures, a diagram or a 6 Y.o. child drawing that shows the open back of this tank Thank you and see you on Friday! ;D |

We will be able to attend after all. A lacrosse schedule change. If we do the judging sheet, that may take some time; perhaps best to discuss some stuff, and toss around ideas?

The meeting is done, started slow but picked up speed! Thanks to all who attended. We went thru the "Ships" judging sheet, next up, Armor by Brad. Mike Burgess sent in a bunch of built models to be given away (again), thanks to Mike, they went to good homes. As always, dinner was served...  The ladies were playing....  Tanks were talking....   Some of Mike's builds...   The Roberts came in....  building models...    A nice meeting enjoyed by all. Nexy month?? besides reviewing Armor judging sheet?? |

One suggestion would be to have everyone bring a kit, and their paint stuff, and try some paint techniques. I have some more models from Mike B., the last of his donated built-ups.
Maybe we could have a PE trade/ exchange: armor, then planes, then floaty stuff,ETC.
maybe a "bring your odd conversion/resin bits" night and trade some bits around.
