I must be getting older..... Cause I'm gettin slower on posting pictures! hehehehe, this is our last meeting.... Mike gathering references on the USS Essex CVA-9..... He is going to try and upgrade the revell kit of an "Essex class" to when his father was aboard. Daniel brought in his big, bad new 1/200th scale USS Arizona for people to look at... Jose brought in alot of things he is working on, such as his Mexican Marine Corps BTR-60... An A-6 Intruder in 1/72 scale.... A Soviet Typhoon in 1/700 scale.... and a diorama titled "Sniper" or was it ambush?? it features a Russian Gaz jeep and some figures... and last was the planes I am doing for the 100th b-day of the navy flyboys.... an F9F-2 Panther and an F7U Cutlass both in 1/72.... and the P-47D thunderbolt from the combo kit gift from John... Unfortunately the walk thru with Melani took a long time and Brad and John had to leave before we were finished and we also did not get to the diorama base building. We will do that in a future month.

The 1/72 "fast builds" are really picking up , is nice to see many models on the table, I guess that is the advantage of building small scales OOB.
