What's going on with all these 1/72 scale? Easier? faster? or don't have space like me!

Easier.... maybe a little, Faster... Yep, Not enough room.... a little of that too.
For me, I started a run of "Tanks of the world" about 5 years ago. I wanted to build as many modern MBT's from as many countires as I could in 1/72. I thought it would be cool for and "displays" where non-modelers could see the difference in the countries tanks in the same scale. (would be cool with planes or ships too) I picked modern for the same reason, most people now don't know what a Sherman or Panther is, BUT, they do know an M-1 and T-72.....
So far I have: Completed
M-1 Abrams USA
Type 90 Japan
LeClerk France
Merkava III Israel
and now a Challenger II Britian
To build:
T-72 and a T-62 Russia
M1A2 USA, M-60A1 USA
Swedish 'S' tank
Leopard, Germany (and many others)
Japan, type 61 and type 74
and the new Italian tank... forgot the name.
plus a few artillery and infantry carriers too

Another smelly box.... So this is on the bench now. It will take longer since I will have to paint all of those evil road wheels...
