This is an old kit from Tamiya of the IJN Destroyer "Shiratuyu" Mid 1942 to 1943. The kit has had p/e hatches, doors, ladders, depth charge racks, 25mm aa guns, and railings added. Mostly Lion Roar p/e. Perhaps I will add it to a sea base with a crew manning the 2 twin AA guns...... I am disappointed that I forgot to turn the main gun director toward the "enemy"..... So, maybe I will just build one of her sister ships and do a better job on details! Sunset on the IJN.... Midships... the base is for a 1/700 Essex class aircraft carrier...... Stern.... from the port bow... ;D

hehehe, I'd rather rig this little beast than paint a 1/48th scale face! Now that is hard.

Nice looking Dan...I guess I still need to pick up the guts to build in 1/700. I have 4 "small boys" to work with: one Fletcher, one Gearing FRAM I, one Bronstein and one Knox. I'll be troubling you for some tips
