NO, it is not a new project!! hehehehe, I have found a display case for the USS Cowpens that I am making and it is too large for a single ship so I decided to add a destroyer to the scene and make a diorama with the CVL and one DD. The Kit: This is a new kit from Dragon models in 1/700 scale, it is a Benson class DD from the late 1930's. This kit gives the modeler 2 kits in the box, one full hull and one waterline. Also in the box are a nice decal sheet (it will be fun!) and photo etch (minus the railings) for both kits. After looking at shipcamouflage.com I found I could build one kit as the USS Woodworth in a dazzle paint scheme to go with the Cowpens in her dazzle paint. So, let the fun begin! detail on the parts is awesome... and the dazzle pattern I will use... I have been dying to try one of the "new" technology, slide molded ship kits from Dragon.... now I have my chance. For my friends south of the border, Dragon has a new 1/350 scale of the nazi battleship Sharnhorst!
