AGSS-555 USS Dolphin, a diesel powered deep diving research sub. This is the boat that had a fire not to long ago off San Diego, and now she is sitting in the SD Maritime museums large collection of ships and subs.
I am not sure if she is open for tours yet, I was just walking by and took the picture.

I knew a crewman off her many years ago. She dove ver ver deep in the day. Used to be highly classified.
