Horten Photos....

Hey I have an idea if we are working on the German Horten 229 proyect why don't we start a Bank of pictures of the plane...

Yeah.., let's collect all the pictures and information we can and post them here, that will help us as reference for building the kits...

I will start with my private collection... ..so share and show all the info you have and instead of making this a competion lets do it like a group build...









This last two are my favorites, and they were taken by Duane J. Furgenson in Orchard Field (now O'Hare), Apparently the Smithsonian used an old factory building there as a storage facility. Doing a quick search shows that (at least) the Heinkel 219 was in this storage facility from 1946-January 1949.

Yes Dan, we are planning to start some Hortens too in 1/72.

Everyone is more than welcome to join of course!

I want to apoligize to all the non-spanish speakers for the way this information is not passing to the rest of the modelers in the club.

I am begining to feel that, although it is nice to have messages in spanish, that leaves the rest of the membership wondering what the H&^% are we talking about (like with the Yak-38 post).

I'll make sure to translate all information in the pertinent posting area for the rest of the members.

Once again, sorry if we let you guys feel a bit left out.
