The Academy 1/72 scale PBY-5 "Catalina" Saw the box art and had to do it..... oh, and Dad likes the Catalina, he rode in a few.
This is another great kit from Academy, decals were great, fit was good and detail was good. Even some interior parts.

Nice color scheme, now yuo need to use that medium gel water technique to put it to float.

I thought about that..... capturing a hasagawa 1/72 scale Emily flying boat! Need a lot of gel for that one!

maybe Mexican if I do another...... this time I liked the yellow wings....... very colorful compared to the rest of my 1/72 collection.

To do the mexican, you will need a PBY-5A, your choice: all silver with dark blue or overall dk blue with international orange wingtips. ( I have the Airfix one in 1/72)
