;D Just a quick build for Dad.... he likes things with propellers. This is the old (and bad) Revell kit of the Boeing P-26 "peashooter" fighter. It will be in the Philippine Air Force marking and colors. No modifications will be done on this one except adding rigging. I do have a second kit that I will add some to the interior and be in USAAF colors.

Sharpening old skills huh? I found that working with old models forces you to go back to the basics.

We should do a "vintage" model build, like using only models from the 60's (out-of-the-box) and we can be restricted to use only the basic tools available in those times, like gel glue, paintbrushes and basic sandsticks, no re-scribing or surgeries on the model.
Maybe also an odd scale, like 1/50 or 1/86

Finished..... This was the first time I used custom decals, they were from "All Scale Decals" in Imperial Beach. I got them at the IPMS Baja contest. They worked good, even though they needed careful trimming since they were printed on white decal paper. This aircraft is the mount of Lt. Godofredo Juliano of the 6th Pursuit Squadron, Philippine Army Air Corps in action at the Batangas air battle on December 12th, 1941. It is totally OOB build for my Dad who likes things with propellers! Poop, I see I forgot to paint the windscreen frame!! So it is only 99.9% done...

I forgot to comment on this one, its a very appealing cammo and scheme, and the rigging looks gtreat.I love to build old models ( I know Carlos likes it too), maybe one day we should make a group build only with models of the 60's or 70's
