Here it goes... First, I already assembled the fuselage and made the instrument panel out of plasticard. Then I added the control stick, floor, seat harness (made of tape), bulkhead(with putty) and glued the back section of the c.o.c.k.p.i.t. Also the center wing section was attached to the fuselage.

Here I continue with the french project.. Then glued the control stabilizers and made sure they were aligned, again I had to drill the holes for the supports as these did not had but a small mark were they had to be positioned. Once all big parts were glued I started to apply putty in all areas that require it. The wheel wells need some detailing, so I am going to make the walls for the wheel wells out of plasticard.

Personally, I love to build "old" models that are not as good as a Hasegawa or a Tamiya, and try to make them look as good.
Keep up the nice work on this one!

Thanks Guys!! Well continuing with the fixes here is the next advances on this fighter.. I did the inside walls in the section were the tires go. This was made out of plasticard bend to conform to the curvature and glued with Tenax. the section were the struts go I applied squadron putty as it was easier to work there. Next I added the ceiling section to fully enclose the wells.

OK, before going into the paint room I needed to add a few details more... Landing gear already installed, by the way I put Mr. Surfacer500 into the wheel wells and helped to have a smooth finish on the inside covering all small imperfections! Revising landing gear alignment.. the landing gear support mechanism had to be cut to put it in the right position inside the wells this adjustment made the angle to vary from the original as I only cut on one end instead of both

Here are the last details to be added... Pitot tube and machine gun's muzzle cannons (which will be drilled and opened) Antenna support (nice and strange detail..) Antena and gunsight. With these all details have been added. Next step will be going into the paint room, i already applied putty for a second time, revised all possible imperfections and sanded again. So, I will have more advances next week...

Project continues.. Airplane ready for paint.. I painted the coc_kpit structure Dk Gray with Tamiya XF-18 + black These are the colors to be used for the camo. Polly S was the first option but these are closer up to a 95% to the real ones. First camo color applied (base color indeed)... Colors second and third applied in a mixture of 50/50 paint/thinner. Applied with an Iwata Airbrush at 14 psi freehand. Once all 3 colors applied I proceed to prepare a mix of white paint with each one of the colors, and I spray it just in the center of each pattern. This is to provide a faded look. With these colors I will prepare the color for the post-shading for all the panels as it is going to be done with an airbrush.
