;D Here is the USS Lexington in 1/350 as built from the Trumpeter kit and with Tom's Modelworks photo etch added. This ship is about 33" long when completed. If you want a large impressive ship that is easy to build ( I completed this model in about 6 weeks) this is the one! There are a few issues building the kit with a full hull but they are easily corrected. And some accuracy issues as well..... the kit gives you 4 bladed propellers, I learned later they should be 3 bladed, little things like that. Overall, I enjoyed building this ship and will do another water lined as well as her sister ship, USS Saratoga CV-3 in pre-war colors. Construction of the island/stack moving right along! Fast, fun, easy build.... and only my third ship! They can be found cheap on e-bay too.
