I got this kit out of the stalled stash while waiting for the Panzer IVD to dry..... Got to love the box art! This will be finished as a camo'ed tank on the eastern front. Other than the plastic being very soft, so far this is a nice kit, I have a second one in the stash ;D

Not much of an update.... I worked on the Pz IVD more..... The only problem has been with the soft plastic, I broke a torsion bar dry fitting a road wheel, so I am enlarging all of the holes in the road wheels for a lose fit. and the carpet monster ate a grab handel on the turret rear, that has now been replaced by a wire one. Hello Kitty after viewing the tank......

I have spent time on this kit working on the commander... My first humble attempt at painting any type of camo pattern! What fun. Anyway here is George, he is about 90% done.

Not much progress this weekend, but I got the roadwheels painted and installed. George is finished except for a pair of Binoculars in his hand (thats how he saw the KV II!). Next and last to do is the individual link track and antennas. hmmm, do I paint the links then glue? or.... glue the links and then paint??

Did work here too, add some camo, gloss and decals. I am not to happy at the colors of the camo, but it is whar it will be! I was worried abou the decals, they are the kit decals from ICM and looked strange on the sheet, but they actually turned out well after the micro set and sol.

;D While waiting for decals for the KV, I have started finishing the Luchs.... I decided to add the third color to the camo scheme and can now begin work on weathering.. I also started removing ejector pin marks from each track link and assembling them, I love the look of individual links... but cleaning them little things up is not fun! I will continue with the track and weathering.... this baby is almost done!

well, the luchs is moving along, I am making steady progress on the individual track links. Remove from sprue, trim, sand of ejector pin mark, paint..... repeat 150+ times!! One side of the tank is done, the other 1/2 way. I am painting these different that the KV, I will bring both friday to the meeting and get opinions of which looks better. I would post pictures, but there is not much to show since the last picture.
Oh the KV is waiting for decals, once they are on the tank... it will be whitewash time!

;D Of course you can believe me.... after all, I don't sell used cars! Last nights progress, tracks are on, gas cans mounted and a few other small detail parts added. Now it is time for final painting! I noticed I am missing a headlight..... I will have to do something creative to "fix" that
