I thought I would put away that war face for awhile and build something civil. I have always liked the colorful markings on airliners and some of the classic lines on civil aviation, so here we go. I have a few airlines in the stash, an Aloha airlines 737-400, a DC-7 in Western airlines, an Airbus 320 in Philippine airlines, another 737-200 in an earlier Aloha airlines scheme and this one here. An Airfix 737-200 in 1/144 scale with New Zealand air and Ansett air markings.... I like the simple Ansett air markings.... and will be the plane I will build. This must be a re-release as the decals are nicely printed. But the plastic is old school raised lines and so-so fit. Since the painting is overall white with colorful decals, this should build quickly which is what I need. Anyone else have any civility in them? ;D

Now that's a nice challenge: getting that white glossy finish. And the decals! Good luck ;D

I am thinking the hardest part in the finishing is doing the windows. There are no decals for them, no clear plastic to put in them and I can't just leave them as open holes.....
