A quick build, OOB slammer....... Doing this to get it out of storage and add some color to the display case. A fun kit so far.... On the stand and ready for paint and decals.

WOW! look at all that filler and you might have to primer the model first before applying any colors to it. I love this quick builds (QB's) like you say, it give us a chance to make space in the storage area. For me is like 1 down, 249 to go...if I build 10 models a year, I'll be done in 25 years (plus whatever more models I buy in the process.

LOL. Only 249? I wish I only had that few....... But you are right, QB OOB, just to get some done and on the shelf that have been sitting way to long. I am going to start a Tamiya 1/48 corsair as a serious build for contests...... I know it won't win, but it won't embarrass me either!
Besides, Matchbox kits are fun!!

Not much to say about this kit...... typical 1970's era, Matchbox kit. I do know red is a PITA to spray! This plane has about 4 coats to get decent coverage I can live with. Decals are on, and yes..... typical 1970's decals, out of register. This plane is only waiting for a final clear gloss, shiny and red, after all it is a "Red Arrow"!
