I got this out and was looking at it..... It has markings for VFA-113 from the USS Independence during desert shield...... or I might do a bug from VMFA-232 the Red Devils..... they still at Miramar?? Or, I might put it back on the shelf!! I read somewhere these grills were not on the -C... so we are having a putty party. Drilled out the gun and exhuast ports on the nose.... Took a look at the pit and pilot for my bug.

Are you sure you dont want to enter the Miramar contest? All you need is an Osprey Let me know, I have some pictures I took from Hornets in Miramar, I also think I have a Squadron walk around and another hard cover book on F-18's

Well, since you volunteered..... What color would be good for the MFD displays? Any other color cockpit shots you have of the switches and knobs would be helpful.... This bug will be in Dk and Lt Ghost gray scheme..... any weathering shots of them will be nice too...... I don't want to over weather!
Also, what color do USMC / USN pilots wear?? The pilot figure is well sculpted and deserves to be painted up.
Does any one have some spare 1/48th weapons? The Revellogram kit only has 4 bombs and 2 winders.... Some where I have a "load out" list.... Maybe there are some weapons in my Monogram A-10 that would work.
No Osprey for me...... this is my Desert Shield entry for WinterFest.
