Some time ago I bought a model from a friend in Missouri, and inside the model box, came another model... a freebee! The instructions are dated "1967", so the model is 2 years older than me. So I decided to experiment some new "make up" and give it a rare topic. The germans gave some BF110's and some He 111's to the Iraki goverment to support the campaing in africa. The crews were german and the airplanes retained their original paint scheme but the markings were covered and replaced by the Iraki ones. I didnt have a decal for the sharkmouth, so I painted it by hand. You can see where the german insignias were before. The very peculiar exhausts Iraki markins aplied over the german ones and the new colors on the tail and rudders. And the german crew member that cant speak arab... This is my last model of 2009, there are plenty more models to come in 2010.
