;D we are back...... I will start posting a few pictures, I only took 150 and will post some of the better ones. Here are a few from day one "the tourist day" An old church on the main plaza.. While doing work in the city these old ruins were unearthed and are now being excavated and preserved The ruins are near the old church in the first photo, smack in the middle of Mexico City!

Hello all We are back, and yes we have a great time!!!! ;D.. the show was great and also the trip, we visit several historic places and eat alot of excellent food and beer... And here is some pictures of the trip... Some Mexican modeler create a copy of Daniel Covey and we were really amazed about the work.... Beto Barba During judging with Jose Angel(inge), Roberto McGuire and another friend of chiapas. Luis Giles, Carlos Salazar judging the planes. El Doc Escajadilo judging tanks Taking pictures of the models Daniel, me, Carlos, a friend from queretaro, Roberto, Beto, more friends from queretaro, jose angel and Victor. Me, Carlos,Robert and Daniel at the Chapultepec Castle.. It was a great trip and we hope to be there next year.... ;D Oh before I forgot, Daniel win 1st and 2nd place in ships, Carlos win a Mention in planes, Robert win a 3rd place and a Mention with figures and Jose Angel win a 3rd place and Carlos son win a 2nd place with a Tank and me.....nothing.... ...only a great time and a lot of new friends and an excellent vacation.... ;D See you...

Mogami in 1/350 Oh and some models... 1/48th Tamiya crusader AA tank Tamiya 1/35 Matilda 1/35 German stug 1/35 Panzer III 1/35 Sherman M4A1 76mm I heard this was a good kit, and it does look good! Zeveda 1/35 BMD airborne assault vehicle just another sherman in 1/35...... well, we did build 55,000 of them

More from Mexico City.... 2 examples from the IDF special catagory.. IDF Centurion IDF M60 series tank 1/35 conversion... Even the Brits were there.... the Jagdpanther in the background won the 1/48 armor. Oi!! a KVII is there.... in 1/48th, now if I can finish my 35th scale one this nice Do I hear the sound of Field Artillery?? and even the new Trumpeter M-198 155mm howitzer!! I gotta get one..... There were even some Owl's hanging around... This cat was finished in 1/48th!

;D 8 more for today..... airplanes cont. A nice 1/48th Mig-17 1/48th F-86 Sabre .... I like this jet! 1/72 scale F-111 "Aardvark" love the plane and the name!! uh oh.... umm, Italian Bomber, and old "Supermodel" kit in 1/72, and a 3rd place winner. An Eduard Albatross in both 1/72 and then 1/48th both by the same modeler. A Mexican A.F. F-5E Tiger.. in 1/48

I hope someone is looking at these pictures!! A nice 1/72 PO-2 "Washing machine charlie" 1/48 modified Lear jet 1/48 "Dragonfly" every time I see this built, I want to do one... 1/48 S-3A Viking in Navy One markings, remember President Bush landing on a carrier?? this is the plane he used which is why it is "NAVY 1" A beautifully finished T-33 in 1/48 1/72 B-25 by Carlos KGR hehehe, now this was a different way to display a 1/72 aircraft..... yep, real water This was the first time I saw 2D models as a catagory... There were busts....... And then there were Busts.... A lot of Sci-Fi...
