Hello guys Are you ready for the show???... I write to Tamiya and here is the answer.... Tamiya/Con 2009 Tamiya/Con Returns in 2009! Tamiya/Con, Tamiya America's premiere modeling event and expo, has taken a break for the past two years and we proudly announce it will return in full swing in April of 2009. The exact April date and location will be announced shortly along with the 2009 rules and model categories. We sincerely appreciate everyone's continued enthusiasm and support for the event throughout the years. We look forward to bringing back one of the most prestigious model events in America and seeing new and familiar faces once again. See you in 2009! So be ready and start building...

Well...it`s sad to tell you this but..some have to do it... Tamiya/Con 2009 Postponed Tamiya America's most prestigious model contest, Tamiya Con has been postponed until further notice. We share everyone's disappointment as Tamiya/Con is an event we hold very dear to our heart. If plans are made in the future, dates will be provided. Stay tuned to our website for updates regarding Tamiya/Con will be announced here. Make sure to check back soon for updates and further announcements. I think Tamiya don`t want to spend money in plastic model events in the US and prefer to spend it on stupid RC shows...until they lost their market and customers thanks to their imagination on reboxing 1970`s kits... Dragon, AFV Club and Trumpeter will kill them..at least in the US...how sad...
