So, my build of the USS England has stalled..... How to solve that?? Start a new project!! So here it is, a Tamiya M-4 Sherman 75mm dry stowage in 1/35 scale. I will probably do a tank in Italy, 1943 since they used OD with red brown or OD with sand camo. Hopefully this won't become stalled!! It is hard to see, but I was happy to see a little interior in the turret, it will look ok with the hatch open.

Now that that nazi target is almost finished (pz IV D) I can get back to one of the 9 or 10 Shermans I have to build. An interesting problem has surfaced in this photo!! A little practice with MIG Pigs on the turret roof...

;D I wanted to get the road wheels painted and installed this weekend. Mission accomplished. Now to ponder the problem of when to paint the tank, I wanted to do a white wash, but I have discovered that I can't fit the driver or bow gunner when the tank is glued together (the hatch is to small, a problem on the real first Shermans)....

Come over to the light side..... You are looking for a M4A1 with either the short 75mm gun or the long 76mm gun. Either is a match for your panzer IV! ;D

The Sherman is ready for camo paint, I will do a vehicle in Italy 1944. I am still debating about installing the headlights or not, many sherman crews removed them in combat zones to keep them from being damaged. I will add the tools and tracks after the camo paint. I have my choice of OD with sand or OD with red brown. All handles on the tank were replaced with wire.... now I just hope I can be careful enough not to crush them while building the model!

;D Finally, there was a space in the paint shop to get the camo sprayed on.... This will be the tank "Hurricane" in France 1944, I hope Tamiya did their research, cause I didn't! besides the camo, this Sherman also has the side skirts on, rare for a US Sherman...... sure hope Tamiya did his homework....

;D Done! Well, 99.5%..... These are the last pictures, this Sherman is ready to be at Bajacon and ipms sd show this weekend. Hopefully I will have the Dragon US Tank crew tank commander figure finished to put with this tank. It was a fairly quick and easy build.... hmmm, must be a Tamiya kit!
