I didnt have the chance to take pictures, but I can tell you that this was one of the best contest I've been, and it's not about the amount of models and their quality, but the experience of meeting with fellow modelers, the conversations, the tips, the personal contact with each other and the moments out of the contest, the demos and of course, the food.
Bigger contests are cold and impersonal: when I go to OrangeCon, if nobody else that I know is there, I just enter my models, try to strike a conversation here and there and if I'm lucky, some other modeler will talk for a little while and then, on to his own thing and I just wait for the award ceremony.
These contests lack of that close warmth that you guys put into BajaCon and I can only hope that other clubs learn from you and see beyond the paint and the detail and look at the camaraderie between the participants.

Woooow.. Thanks for all your comments, specially Jose, you said so kind and perfect words that make me feel so happy... For me it was a pleasure to have you all in the Baja show, not only like participants, for me like my best friends, that I know I can count with you any time, and you show me that the day of the event. Thanks to all your help we have the best show in six years... Thanks Daniel, Jose Luis, Mike and my bro Carlos for been there, after all we have, it was the perfect start. Gabe.

I agree with Gabriel, it has been the best event and definitely as Jose says you find yourself sorrounded by friends everywhere it is totally different from.. not going far.. from the San Diego model expo which is a show that I will definitely will not attend anymore as besides being cold it is the most unorganized and has the worst judging organization not counting that they do not even follow the IPMS rules like it should be.
Going back at the BajaCon I hope next year we can repeat it again with as much modellersa and models as we had this time. It was a great show and I heard many comments about the method of judging which it was well received by everybody, it was a superb show!
